Job Summary:The Certified Nurse Assistant will be responsible for providing direct resident care, including assisting with daily living activities, administering medications, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. You will work closely with our licensed nursing staff to ensure that our residents receive the best possible care.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct resident care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist residents with daily living activities, such as eating, toileting, and transferring
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by licensed nursing staff
- Maintain a clean and safe environment, including cleaning and disinfecting resident rooms and common areas
- Assist with resident transfers and ambulation
- Document resident care and progress in accordance with facility policies and procedures
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing
- Ability to work collaboratively with licensed nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, lift up to 40 pounds, and stand for long periods. You must also be able to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
