Job Title: Infrastructure Engineer

At Synergis, we're seeking a skilled Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our IT Infrastructure team, you'll be responsible for maintaining the operation of our client's distribution facility in Waddell, Arizona.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the IT Infrastructure and the operation of the warehouse.
  • Act as an escalation point for operations partners, service desk, and other members of the IT Infrastructure team.
  • Be the primary on-site point of contact for business operations, including on-call support as needed.
  • Translate the needs of the business into solutions while meeting budgetary and timeline requirements.
  • Responsible for lifecycle management and capacity planning.
  • Ensure all documentation and monitoring tools are up to date.
  • Manage projects in close collaboration with our project management, network operations partners, and network service owner teams.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience supporting IT Infrastructure.
  • Understanding of enterprise-level network and collaboration concepts.
  • Working knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/IP, VoIP, DNS, DHCP, etc.
  • Working knowledge of systems such as storage, virtualization, file systems, etc.
  • Working knowledge of low voltage/structured cabling technologies and concepts.
  • Excellent documentation and project management skills.
  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Possess strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Education Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems (or related field), or equivalent work experience.
What We Offer:
  • Hourly pay rate range: $38 to $42 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
