Job Summary

Ortco Inc is seeking a skilled Laborer to join our team in the Southern California area. As a Laborer, you will play a vital role in supporting our construction and maintenance operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform construction, modification, maintenance, and repair work to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot maintenance problems and determine the necessary materials and supplies required for repair.
  • Operate hand tools, mechanical equipment, power tools, and light to heavy equipment safely and effectively to complete tasks.
  • Maintain accurate logs, records, and written reports of work performed to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Understand and follow oral and written instructions to ensure seamless communication with team members and management.
  • Organize work, set priorities, and meet critical time deadlines to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, management, and clients to ensure smooth operations.
  • Foster positive working relationships with colleagues and clients to promote a positive work environment.
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of experience in the construction industry.
  • OSHA 10 Hour Certificate preferred.
  • First Aid & CPR Certificate preferred.
  • Pass pre-employment and random drug screenings to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs on a routine basis.
