About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at E-Z Mart Inc. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and achieving sales goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner, answer questions, and provide assistance with purchases.
  • Sales Floor Maintenance: Ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and well-stocked, and that all merchandise is properly displayed and priced.
  • Cash Handling: Accurately process transactions, handle customer payments, and maintain a secure and efficient cash handling process.
  • Upselling and Suggestive Selling: Identify opportunities to upsell and suggest complementary products to customers, enhancing their shopping experience and driving sales growth.
  • Brand Ambassador: Promote our brand and products to customers, highlighting the benefits and value of our offerings.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals, maintain a positive and productive work environment, and support each other in meeting customer needs.
Requirements
  • Age Requirement: Must be 21 years of age or older (varies by state).
  • Availability: Must be able to work weekends and holidays, and have a flexible schedule to meet business needs.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English effectively.
  • Math Proficiency: Basic math skills required, including addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication.
  • Physical Ability: Capable of frequently lifting 10 lbs and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Pre-Employment Screening: Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and be subject to a criminal history background check.
