Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to join our precision manufacturing team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining manually controlled machines to produce high-quality metal parts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate lathes, milling machines, and drill presses to produce parts that meet exact specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints to ensure products meet all required tolerances and specifications.
  • Use gauges, fixtures, and measuring instruments to maintain precision and document set-up sheets for each project.
  • Fabricate parts from various metals and plastics, while following all instructions in the manufacturing traveler.
  • Perform daily maintenance on machinery and maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of experience in manual machining or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of blueprint interpretation and precision machining techniques.
