Job Summary:
The Housekeeper will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our residents and staff. This is a critical role that requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all areas of the facility are clean, safe, and sanitary, including resident rooms, offices, clinical areas, waiting areas, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, and stairways.
- Perform routine cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and disinfecting, using the appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedure and state requirements.
- Utilize and maintain equipment properly, transport trash and hazardous waste to the appropriate disposal area, and replenish supplies as required.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure a seamless and efficient cleaning process.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as scheduled.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
