Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Antitrust Attorney to join our prestigious Antitrust Practice at Newport Williams. This role offers an exciting opportunity for an attorney with 3-5 years of experience in antitrust law to contribute to complex, high-profile cases in both civil and criminal matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in complex antitrust cases, including civil and criminal litigation, regulatory investigations, and antitrust compliance.
- Assist in advising clients on pre-merger notifications, investigations, and transactional antitrust issues.
- Conduct legal research, analysis, and strategic counsel on competitive practices.
- Draft legal documents including pleadings, briefs, and motions.
- Work closely with senior attorneys and clients to devise litigation strategies.
- Manage and mentor junior associates and support staff.
- Participate in business development efforts and contribute to firm marketing initiatives.
Requirements:
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in the California State Bar.
- 3-5 years of experience in antitrust law, with a focus on pre-merger notification and antitrust litigation.
- Excellent academic credentials and a proven track record in antitrust matters.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A client-focused, team-oriented attitude.
Compensation:
- Base Salary: $225,000 to $435,000, depending on class year and experience.
- Additional performance-based bonuses and benefits.
