Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team at Michaels Stores. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their shopping experience, and ensuring a fast and friendly checkout process.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist customers with finding products, answering questions, and making recommendations to enhance their shopping experience.
  • Ensure a smooth and efficient checkout process, handling cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Participate in visual merchandising and stock maintenance, ensuring a visually appealing store environment.

As a Customer Service Representative, you will work closely with other team members to achieve sales goals and provide an exceptional customer experience. Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework or prior retail experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse customer populations.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit transactions.
