Pittsburgh Critical Care Associates (PCCA) is a leading private practice intensivist group seeking highly skilled Advance Practice Practitioners (ACNP / PA) to work as intensivists at Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene, Texas.

About the Role

We are looking for dedicated and compassionate professionals to join our multidisciplinary team in providing expanded critical care services. As an Advance Practice Practitioner, you will work closely with physician intensivists to deliver high-quality patient care in our 24-bed mixed ICU.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive critical care services to patients with medical, surgical, and trauma conditions
  • Collaborate with physician intensivists and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and contribute to the development of treatment plans
  • Perform a range of procedures, including central line placement, arterial catheter insertion, intubation, and thoracentesis
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams
Requirements
  • Current licensure as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the State of Texas
  • 1-2 years of acute care experience (recommended but not required)
  • Ability to work a 7-on 7-off rotation with days and nights
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive team environment
