Job Title: Senior Ultrasound Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Ultrasound Engineer to join our team at FUJIFILM Sonosite. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the development of signal path algorithms and imaging modes for our ultrasound platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the definition, documentation, and simulation of system architecture.
  • Optimize image quality on our systems, including the development of tools, methods, and infrastructure to guide development and tune imaging parameters.
  • Develop software tools for image optimization and data analysis.
  • Implement new signal path algorithms and work with transducer engineering to integrate new transducers onto the ultrasound system.
  • Collaborate with clinical product specialists to optimize transducers for specific clinical applications.
  • Develop imaging modes and techniques that benefit the point-of-care market.
Requirements:
  • MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
  • 4-6+ years of relevant industry experience, with 3 years of medical ultrasound imaging experience.
  • Expertise in ultrasound physics, signal and image processing, transducer optimization, simulation, algorithm development, and tool development.
  • Extensive experience in product development from conception to release.
  • ISO, FDA, or other regulated industry training and experience.
What We Offer:
  • A competitive salary range of $120,000-$165,000, plus a variable bonus opportunity.
  • A comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, and a 401(k) plan with a 4% automatic company contribution and a 50% match up to 6% of your salary.
  • Up to three weeks of paid time off in your first year, with increases based on years of service.
  • Four additional paid days off, based on date of hire in the calendar year.
  • Eight paid holidays per year.
