Position: Bartender

As a Bartender, you will play a vital role in our establishment, contributing significantly to the delivery of authentic hospitality. Key Responsibilities:

Essential Duties:
  • Comply with laws and company policies regarding alcohol service.
  • Engage effectively with customers and assist them in their food and beverage choices.
  • Maintain a professional and enthusiastic demeanor.
  • Process orders accurately.
  • Ensure the cleanliness of the bar area, preparing and stocking it for service.
  • Achieve proficiency in all specialty cocktails and show enthusiasm for our offerings.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A minimum of 2 years of bartending experience is required.
  • Experience in a high-volume corporate setting is advantageous.
  • Strong awareness of the guest environment and their needs.
  • Extensive knowledge of liquor, beer, and wine.
  • Strong understanding of craft beer and cocktails.
  • Ability to multitask and collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
  • Clear and professional communication skills with guests, team members, and management.
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules, including evenings and weekends.
  • Good judgment and an adaptable attitude.
  • All required food and alcohol certifications as mandated by location.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Indirectly oversees barbacks (non-supervisory)

Department: FOH Operations

Work Environment/Physical Demands:
  • Must be able to stand for the entire shift.
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
  • Good hearing is necessary for effective communication with guests.
  • Must be able to use hands and fingers to handle and manipulate objects and tools.
  • Ability to work in noisy environments.
  • Frequent reaching, bending, stooping, and carrying required.
  • Must be able to work in both warm and cool settings; indoors and outdoors.
  • Must tolerate potential exposure to allergens (e.g., peanut products, egg, dairy, gluten, soy, seafood, and shellfish).
  • Extended periods of standing and walking throughout the restaurant.
  • This is a fast-paced, hands-on position.
  • Dining areas are both indoors and outdoors, with lighting maintained at a low level.
