Nurse Educator

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Educator to join our team at Kadlec Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our Clinical Education department, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing staff orientation, competencies, and education in the department. You will also serve as a resource for provider, patient, and family education, and support the Mission, Vision, and Values of Kadlec Regional Medical Center.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement educational programs for staff, focusing on competencies and patient care.
- Collaborate with department leaders to identify education needs and develop strategies to meet those needs.
- Provide education and support to providers, patients, and families on various health topics.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest clinical practices and education methods to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to education and staff development.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Bachelor's Degree or in progress (to be completed within 5 years from date of hire into the position), from an accredited educational institution.
- Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- 2 years recent experience in area of specialty.
- Master's Degree in an accredited educational institution.
