Cranbrook Educational Community Seeking Part-time Private Music Teachers

We are seeking part-time Private Music Teachers to join our team at Cranbrook Schools. Instructors will teach lessons at various grade levels, focusing on scales, arpeggios, etudes, solo, and chamber music literature.

Family contact with instructors is required to request lessons, sign a contract, and schedule a mutually convenient time for the student and instructor. Lessons are by appointment only, and instructors are paid bi-weekly for lessons taught at a rate of $35 per 30-minute lesson.

To be eligible for this position, candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Music or a related field and have successful experience teaching students. Extensive personal accomplishments in performance are preferred, but not required.
