We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Laboratory Scientist to join our team at MLee Healthcare. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will play a crucial role in performing routine duties directed by our Laboratory Manager. Your expertise will be essential in conducting chemical, microscopic, serologic, hematologic, immunohematologic, parasitic, and bacteriologic tests to provide critical data for treatment and disease diagnosis.
Responsibilities- Conduct high-complexity testing and manage laboratory equipment safely and correctly.
- Perform quality control checks on equipment, calibrations, and troubleshoot out-of-range results.
- Notify patient care units and physicians of critical lab values.
- Maintain regulatory requirements and adhere to Standard Precautions and infection control procedures.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology, Chemistry, or Biology.
- Certification/Licensure as a Medical Lab Scientist by ASCP (American Society for Clinical Pathology) or equivalent.
- Ability to function in all areas of the clinical laboratory, including blood bank, chemistry, hematology, microbiology, serology/immunology, urinalysis, and coagulation.
