- Demonstrate competency in the knowledge and implementation of technology standards, utilizing digital tools to support teaching and learning.
- Provide curricula required by the district, ensuring that instruction is based on adopted curricula and standards.
- Bases instruction on accurate and current knowledge in the subject field, employing a variety of instructional strategies to augment student achievement.
- Creates and maintains an environment that supports learning, accommodates individual learning differences, and promotes student attendance and engagement.
- Communicates with parents and provides feedback on student work, setting high positive expectations for student performance and encouraging individual student accomplishments and appropriate behavior.
- Organizes teaching strategies to maximize allocated instructional time, increasing student learning and achievement.
- Prepares and implements lesson plans to teach instructional objectives, following grading policies and regulations and maintaining accurate and complete student records.
- Follows confidentiality procedures regarding students, parents/guardians, and fellow staff members, adhering to established laws, policies, and regulations.
- Performs assigned duties and is punctual with reports, grades, records, and reporting to work.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a valid Ohio teaching certificate or license issued by the Ohio Department of Education that covers the grade level and subject matter for this specific position. Additionally, you will need to have proper endorsements as required.
