About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Palliative Care team at Lowell General Hospital. As a Compassionate Palliative Care Nurse, you will provide supportive care services to patients with life-threatening illnesses, focusing on easing pain and managing symptoms while participating in a clinical advancement program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide patient-centered care to individuals with life-threatening illnesses, prioritizing symptom management and pain relief.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans that address physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
  • Pursue ongoing education and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in palliative care.

Requirements
  • A degree in Nursing (ADN or BSN) and current RN licensure in Massachusetts.
  • At least two years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in a med/surg or ambulatory setting.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification and Hospice or Palliative Care experience is preferred.
