Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Resin Operator to join our team at Stryten Energy. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating extruding machines, removing reprocessed material, and performing various tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our manufacturing process.

Responsibilities
  • Operate extruding machines to produce high-quality resin products
  • Remove reprocessed material from molded products and store it in designated areas
  • Act as Relief Operator when required to ensure seamless production
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by management, including supply chain management and quality control
  • Complete required paperwork and documentation accurately and efficiently
  • Supply chips and regrinds to all extruders as needed
  • Unload chip deliveries via skid steer into holding bins in a timely manner
  • Store and procure material to be extruded, ensuring adequate inventory levels
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and regulations
  • Work on special projects as required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability
  • Follow all safety requirements, including wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and completing regular training
  • Operate forklift and pallet jack safely and efficiently
  • Achieve forklift and skid steer certification, demonstrating commitment to safety and quality
  • Perform Quality Auditor duties as trained, ensuring compliance with industry standards
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • General verbal, written, and math skills
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for 12 hours a day
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with a strong work ethic
  • Successfully complete a Forklift Driver Training Program
  • Ability to bend, push, pull, and twist to move material and equipment
  • Ability to shovel, sweep, or move material and equipment as needed
  • Detailed understanding of Extruding Machine Operation
  • Ability to drive forklift and/or skid steer as needed
  • Ability to work outside in various weather conditions
