As a Physical Therapist, you will deliver advanced therapeutic interventions and holistic care to address the medical, physical, emotional, and vocational challenges faced by individuals with various conditions, including brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputations, and multiple traumas.


Key Responsibilities:
- Assess assigned patients and establish suitable treatment objectives and programs.
- Continuously evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans for optimal outcomes.
- Develop comprehensive treatment goals to enhance patient recovery and reintegration into community activities.
- Collaborate with other clinical and therapeutic services, as well as community resources, to coordinate treatment programs. Participate in relevant clinical meetings to ensure effective collaboration.


- Educate patients and their families by creating detailed and progressive home care programs, ensuring safe and effective discharges.


- Prepare for patient discharge by ordering necessary equipment and recommending therapeutic services to ensure continuity of care.


- Evaluate patients in real or simulated environments such as home, school, work, or community settings to facilitate their return to daily activities, making recommendations for necessary adaptations or training.

- Identify and manage varying levels of care needed to ensure effective delivery of care plans.

- Supervise and delegate tasks to Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) and support staff to optimize patient outcomes and service efficiency.


Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Physical Therapist is mandatory.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or completion within the first 90 days of employment is required.
