Pulmonary Rehabilitation Exercise Physiologist

Lee Health is seeking an experienced Pulmonary Rehabilitation Exercise Physiologist to join our team. As a member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients with pulmonary conditions.

About the Role

This full-time position is located in Fort Myers, Florida, and requires collaboration with various disciplines to ensure effective care and positive patient outcomes.

You will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare teams to develop personalized treatment plans that cater to their unique needs and goals.

Your expertise will encompass a range of responsibilities, including:

  • Delivering and documenting care to outpatient pulmonary rehab patients based on established standards
  • Collaborating with other professionals to ensure effective care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes
  • Participating in community outreach initiatives to promote health education and awareness
  • Maintaining knowledge of pulmonary rehab guidelines, standards, and reimbursement practices
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology
  • Prior experience in pulmonary rehab clinical practice (12 weeks) or 1-3 years of experience in a related field
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • ACSM Exercise Specialist certification or Registered Exercise Physiologist
