Must-Have: Level I trauma experience, Interpretation and Management of dysrhythmias, EPIC charting experience preferred, High school diploma required
Job Description: Successful candidates will be offered positions pending clinical pass. Requests for time off must be submitted during the application phase; additional requests will not be approved. No time off is allowed during specified holiday periods. No block scheduling is permitted. Orientation includes 12 hours of training. The position does not require on-call duties. Required to work on weekends; 3 weekends (Friday-Sunday) per 4-week schedule, with possibility of working 1-3 days each weekend. May need to float to Pediatric units. Work in a Level 1 Trauma Center, Stroke Center, Heart Center, and Pediatric Emergency Department. Currently experiencing high patient ratios (1:5-6), potentially up to 1:8 during busy periods and holidays. Continuous IV sedation and procedural sedation administration experience is preferred. Triage experience is preferred. Modules are non-billable and will be completed pre-start, varying by specialty. These modules are self-reported. This position is an excellent opportunity for nurses with Level I trauma experience seeking to work in a dynamic and high-paced ER environment.
