Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to patients with cardiac conditions, including those requiring emergency care and testing.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective care strategies.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • At least one year of medical/surgical experience in an inpatient setting.
  • Strongly prefer cardiac and/or step-down experience.
  • BLS & ACLS required.
  • BSN required or willing and able to obtain within 3 years from the date of hire.
  • Delaware RN Licensure or eligibility for licensure in Delaware.
