PROMAN Staffing is collaborating with a prominent manufacturer specializing in industrial packaging solutions.
This position is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity for the 2nd shift.
We are seeking Maintenance Specialists who demonstrate teamwork, adaptability, and reliability.
Compensation: $32.50 per hour
2nd shift hours: 1:30 PM - 10:00 PM
**Candidates must be available for training on the 1st shift for 6-8 weeks from 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM.**
Maintenance Specialist Responsibilities- Conduct electrical and electronic repairs.
- Proficient in troubleshooting, repairing, and minor programming, including uploading and downloading programs to PLCs.
- Strong skills in maintaining and repairing:
- Machine drive systems (VFDs)
- Temperature control systems, including thermocouples (RTD, J, K) and SSRs.
- 3-phase electrical systems, motors, breakers, starters, and overloads.
- Basic electrical knowledge.
- Experience with conduit and wire sizing.
- Ability to utilize Digital MultiMeters, Amp Probes, and Manometers.
- Proficient in working with PCs.
- Ability to use the internet for identifying parts and equipment.
- Familiarity with software for communication and reporting.
- Physical capability to navigate confined spaces.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a technician for injection molding machines.
- Electrical troubleshooting skills, with the ability to read electrical schematics.
- Hydraulic troubleshooting experience, with the ability to interpret hydraulic diagrams.
- Capability to read and understand mechanical drawings.
- Experience in performing preventive maintenance on machinery and maintaining detailed records.
- Possession of personal tools is required.
- A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle are necessary (occasional driving may be required).
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Proficient in making precise measurements using hand tools.
