Position: Security Engineer specializing in SIEM/SOAR & Kubernetes

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Engineer with expertise in the following areas:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of cloud computing concepts, including virtualization, containerization, microservices, and serverless architectures.
  • Proficient in Risk Management, RHCOS security, container security, Kubernetes security, IAM security, network security, auditing, encryption, secrets management, and data protection, with a focus on securing CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience in designing and deploying a cohesive log aggregation platform.
  • Skilled in enabling and configuring SIEM data connectors, fluentd, and Microsoft Sentinel.
  • Ability to identify and document log source volume and data types being ingested.
  • Recommendations for enhancements to existing data sources to optimize data ingestion costs and ensure the security relevance of log data.
  • Creation of architectural documentation illustrating all log source connector inputs to the SIEM.
  • Expertise in requirements engineering, data architecture, testing, and solution deployments, with a solid understanding of system interactions within technical architectures.
  • Capable of facilitating data sharing and publication with other applications and data architects to design effective database systems.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, or Java.
  • Background in DevOps and agile methodologies, with a focus on automated solution delivery and testing through CI/CD pipelines.
  • Advanced understanding of Identity Security principles, including least-privilege access, separation of duties, and Zero Trust design principles.
  • Over 10 years of experience in Information Security, with a minimum of 5 years dedicated to Security Log Aggregation, SIEM/SOAR.
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, agile environment.
