Job Summary

Lone Star College is seeking a highly qualified Faculty, Biology Instructor to join our team. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for teaching biology courses and contributing to the development of our academic programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching and Curriculum Development: Teach biology courses at various times and locations, develop and implement curriculum, and assess student learning.
  • Student Engagement and Support: Provide academic support to students, including office hours, advising, and mentoring.
  • Professional Development: Stay current with developments in biology and education, participate in professional development opportunities, and contribute to departmental and institutional initiatives.
  • Service and Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement academic programs, participate in departmental and institutional committees, and contribute to the college's mission and goals.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's degree or higher in theoretical or applied biology or life sciences, or a master's degree or higher with 18 graduate credit hours in theoretical or applied biology or life sciences.
