Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team at Barnes-Jewish Hospital Nursing. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for assisting with a variety of interventional procedures, including body, vascular, and neuro procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with all adult IR procedures, including body, vascular, and neuro procedures
  • Work independently and as part of a team to ensure smooth procedure completion
  • Utilize Philips monitors and other equipment to support procedures
  • Manage central lines and titrate drips as needed
  • Conduct CT-guided procedures and bone biopsies
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in a critical care setting, such as ICU or ED, or procedural background
  • Critical care experience and procedural background required
  • IR experience not necessary, but first-time travelers acceptable
  • BCLS and ACLS certifications required
Work Schedule
  • M-F schedule with occasional extended shifts for procedure completion
  • Every 5th or 6th Saturday work requirement
  • Backup shifts required approximately once a week
Additional Details
  • AHA certifications only
  • Certification completion cards are acceptable for up to 1 month until the official card is issued
