Position Overview:

As a Bartender, you will be responsible for taking food and drink orders in the Tap Room and crafting beverages during operational hours. Your role will include preparing cocktails and fulfilling beverage and food requests while assisting the team with the occasional delivery of orders in the dining area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the safe and responsible service of alcoholic beverages
  • Prepare and stock the bar area before service begins
  • Create and serve specialty drinks and cocktails
  • Engage with customers in a friendly manner
  • Process resident orders using the point-of-sale system
  • Prepare select food items under supervision
  • Follow recipes and presentation standards for food and beverages
  • Conduct weekly inventory and manage supply orders
  • Maintain punctuality and consistent attendance
  • Foster a positive team atmosphere
  • Assist the kitchen with food preparation as needed
  • Keep the workstation clean and sanitized
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position does not include supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications:
To excel in this role, candidates must demonstrate strong customer service skills and a courteous demeanor. A minimum of one year of experience in the hospitality sector is preferred, with a focus on bartending. The ability to communicate effectively with the senior population is essential. Candidates must also be eligible for a bartending license after completing the required beverage server course.

Language Skills:
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing. Proficiency in numerical tasks as necessary.

Physical Requirements:
The physical demands of this role include standing and walking for extended periods, using hands for handling tools and equipment, and the ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment:
The work environment is typically moderate in noise level.
