Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Soliant. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing and evaluating students' speech and language abilities, developing and implementing individualized therapy plans, and providing direct therapy services to students.

Responsibilities:

  • Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities, and develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on assessment findings.
  • Direct Therapy: Provide direct therapy services to students, focusing on improving articulation, fluency, language comprehension, and other communication skills.
  • Collaboration: Work in partnership with teachers, parents, and school staff to incorporate therapy goals into classroom activities and daily routines, ensuring a unified approach to student support.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of therapy sessions, student progress, and relevant observations, and prepare reports and contribute to the development and review of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Progress Monitoring: Regularly review and adjust therapy plans to ensure they effectively address students' needs and promote their ongoing development.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in California.
  • Previous experience working in a school setting is preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
