Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Launch Engineer to join our team at Midway Products Group. As a Launch Engineer, you will be responsible for the successful launch of manufacturing processes for new or engineering change products. Your primary focus will be on facilitating the review and release of product data provided by customers to our organization and vendors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the project launch of manufacturing processes for new or engineering change products, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
  • Review and release product data provided by customers to our organization and vendors, ensuring accuracy and compliance with quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues that may impact the launch process.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Provide technical support to manufacturing teams to ensure smooth production operations.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to the launch process, including process sheets, flowcharts, and other engineering documentation.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of process development and implementation plans.
  • Coordinate with the quality department to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a related field, preferably in the automotive stamping industry or a tier one company supplying the same.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Project.
  • Knowledge of GD&T and PFMEA development.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in a normal office environment with occasional travel to plant sites. The position requires the ability to lift parts and subassemblies, and to operate equipment in a manufacturing environment.
