Surveyor in Training

CPH is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Surveyor in Training to join our team in Central Florida.
Job Summary
We are looking for a talented individual to support our licensed surveyor in various tasks related to land surveying projects. As a surveyor-in-training, you will work in the field and the office, gaining practical experience and knowledge in surveying techniques and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in performing land surveys and field measurements using surveying equipment.
- Conduct boundary surveys to determine the legal property lines and corners of land parcels.
- Support the team in conducting topographic surveys to gather data about the natural and man-made features of a particular area.
- Assist in setting out points and marking positions on the ground to guide construction projects.
- Process and analyze collected survey data using computer software and tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Geomatics or related field.
- 0-3+ years of experience in land surveying, preferably in ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, Plats, Topographic Surveys, Asbuilt Surveys, Boundary Surveys, Retracement GLO Surveys, and Laser Scanning.
- CAD or Auto CADD experience is highly desirable.
- Strong organization and communication skills.
- Valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record.
