Job Overview

Moving Mountains Recovery is an outpatient Substance Use Treatment Program.

We treat adults in our Partial Care and Intensive Outpatient Programs.

About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Substance Abuse Therapist - Clinical Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with substance use disorders, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities

Assess client needs and develop individualized treatment plans.

Provide high-quality counseling services, including individual, group, and family sessions.

Conduct assessments using standardized tools, such as the ASI or DSM-5.

Determine the appropriate level of care based on the ASAM Criteria.

Collaborate with clients to develop written treatment plans that include goals and measurable objectives.

Document all counseling services and assessments in client records.

Participate in multidisciplinary teams and provide case consultation as needed.

Requirements
  • A Master's Degree in Counseling or a related field.
  • An active NJ license.
  • Experience working with substance use disorders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
