Job Title: Licensed Clinician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Clinician to join our team at SouthLight Healthcare. As a Licensed Clinician, you will play a vital role in providing person-centered recovery approaches to treatment for pregnant women and mothers with dependent children in our residential treatment program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluation: Conduct intakes, screenings, and assessments to determine the best course of treatment for our clients.
  • Clinical Service: Provide individual and family therapy, as well as group therapy sessions, to support the recovery and well-being of our clients.
  • Authorizations for Reimbursement: Ensure that all necessary authorizations are obtained for reimbursement of services provided.
  • Case Management: Coordinate care and case management services for our clients, including coordination with other healthcare providers and community resources.
  • Supervision of Clinical Practice: Provide clinical supervision and support to other staff members, as well as participate in treatment team meetings and case reviews.

Requirements:

  • Education: Master's degree in a Human Services field.
  • Experience: Experience working with residents and children, preferably in a mental health or substance abuse setting.
  • Licensure: Clinically licensed, with a minimum of LCAS/A licensure. Dual licensure is a plus, but not required.
  • Skills and Abilities: Electronic Medical Record skills, diagnostic skills, and familiarity with the DSM-V. Ability to foster a cooperative work environment and work in a team setting.
