We are seeking a skilled Imaging Technologist to join our team at Northern Arizona Healthcare Corporation. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, utilizing cutting-edge technology to provide high-quality patient care.

About the Role:

  • Perform imaging procedures in multiple modalities, including CT, MRI, Mammography, and Ultrasound
  • Provide basic patient care, maintain equipment, and transport patients as needed
  • Prepare and maintain documentation, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
  • Collaborate with physicians and other medical professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes

Responsibilities:

  • Obtain patient history and educate patients/families regarding procedures and treatment
  • Position patients appropriately for radiographic procedures and perform analysis according to departmental guidelines
  • Maintain infection prevention standards and explain standard procedures to patients
  • Prepares, cleans, adjusts, inspects, and maintains equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Produces quality images and prepares/presents them with other pertinent patient information for timely interpretation

Requirements:

  • Associates of Applied Science or related field required; Ultrasound certification preferred
  • Minimum 1 year experience as an imaging technologist; 3 years experience preferred
  • Experience in hospital Trauma 1 and Trauma 2 environment preferred
  • Certifications in Diagnostic/Xray, CT, Mammography, and/or MRI required
  • BLS (American Heart Assoc.) certification required
