Imaging Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Imaging Technologist to join our team at Northern Arizona Healthcare Corporation. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, utilizing cutting-edge technology to provide high-quality patient care.
About the Role:
- Perform imaging procedures in multiple modalities, including CT, MRI, Mammography, and Ultrasound
- Provide basic patient care, maintain equipment, and transport patients as needed
- Prepare and maintain documentation, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
- Collaborate with physicians and other medical professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
Responsibilities:
- Obtain patient history and educate patients/families regarding procedures and treatment
- Position patients appropriately for radiographic procedures and perform analysis according to departmental guidelines
- Maintain infection prevention standards and explain standard procedures to patients
- Prepares, cleans, adjusts, inspects, and maintains equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Produces quality images and prepares/presents them with other pertinent patient information for timely interpretation
Requirements:
- Associates of Applied Science or related field required; Ultrasound certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience as an imaging technologist; 3 years experience preferred
- Experience in hospital Trauma 1 and Trauma 2 environment preferred
- Certifications in Diagnostic/Xray, CT, Mammography, and/or MRI required
- BLS (American Heart Assoc.) certification required
