Job Title: Case Worker

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Case Worker in the Family Services division.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our team to provide support services to clients in need, including identifying suitable housing, conducting interviews, and developing case plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Clark County Social Services Landlord Engagement and Property Services staff to identify suitable housing for clients
  • Conduct interviews and assess immediate and long-term needs of clients
  • Develop and implement case plans in collaboration with Case Managers
  • Provide post-placement conflict resolution and mediation services for clients and landlords
  • Lead and teach classes on budgeting, banking, and other life skills
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED; some college preferred
  • One (1) year case work or related experience
  • Bi-lingual (Spanish) preferred
  • Knowledge of criteria for food, rent, and utility assistance and the processes to enroll participants
  • Ability to access at-risk participants and situations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and file management skills
  • Ability to work in a team setting
  • Ability to prioritize responsibilities and manage time
  • Ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds and circumstances
  • Ability to work flexible days and hours, including weekends
