Job Summary
CPS Solutions, LLC is seeking a highly motivated and customer service-oriented Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at Summa Health in Akron, Ohio. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in providing outstanding service to patients with complex, specialty diseases, helping them achieve improved clinical outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Enroll patients into the program, assisting with recruitment to ensure the most possible benefits for the patients.
- Deliver exceptional service to each patient in every interaction, ensuring they perceive our customer site pharmacy as the pharmacy of choice and ultimately impacting their level of success in their therapy.
- Retain patients throughout the life of their therapy to achieve the best possible clinical outcomes by supporting them at each step in their therapeutic journey.
- Work to prevent and resolve drug-related issues, providing drug information to patients and families, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Coordinate clinical projects, assist with formulary decisions, ensure billing compliance and revenue capture, and help lead other projects as needed.
- Serve as a resource and drug expert in specialty medications, increasing knowledge through research and writing activities.
Qualifications
- Advanced degree or Board Certification (e.g. PharmD, M.S., Board Certification in a subspecialty).
- Licensed to practice, or the ability to become licensed as a Pharmacist in the state of Ohio.
- The energy and willingness to be hands-on and do whatever is required to provide the best care to our patients.
- The ability to start from scratch, execute quickly and accurately without pre-defined processes and protocols, and an interest in defining such processes and protocols for the future.
- Strong people skills and the ability to work with teams across various clinics and health system partners.
- The ability to communicate effectively at all levels inside and outside the organization.
