Job Overview

As a Lead Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will be instrumental in supporting the pharmacist with a variety of pharmacy operations. Your role encompasses assisting customers with their questions, managing inventory levels, processing cash transactions, and ensuring the pharmacy environment is well-maintained. Additionally, you will aid in the implementation of pharmacy programs and services, including inventory oversight and customer pickups. To thrive in this position, strong communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and preferably experience in a retail setting are essential. A PTCB or ExCPT certification is advantageous but not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving concerns
  • Support the pharmacist in all pharmacy-related functions
  • Ensure accuracy in inventory management and pricing
  • Process cash transactions and manage register operations
  • Assist in the execution of pharmacy programs and services

Required Qualifications

  • Proficient in English
  • Availability for a flexible work schedule
  • Prior experience in a retail environment is preferred
  • Basic math and computer proficiency
  • Familiarity with inventory control processes is a plus
