Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Senior Electrophysics Engineer to focus on Electromagnetic Effects. This critical role involves spearheading the creation and assessment of TEMPEST protocols for advanced aerospace platforms. This position provides a unique opportunity to mentor emerging engineers while progressing your career towards a Technical Fellow role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and validate TEMPEST specifications with team members, clients, and system designers.
  • Lead the formulation of TEMPEST Control Plans, Testing Procedures, and Reports.
  • Conduct TEMPEST evaluations and oversee design assessments to guarantee TEMPEST compliance.
  • Execute EMI/EMC analyses and apply mitigation techniques across various systems.
  • Engage in project management activities, including progress tracking, financial planning, and scheduling.
  • Provide mentorship and support to junior engineers, fostering their professional development.

Qualifications:

  • Certified TEMPEST Professional (CTP) Level II certification is mandatory.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline.
  • Significant experience in EMI/EMC, MIL-STD-461/464, and TEMPEST assessments.
  • Expertise in RF testing equipment and Electromagnetic principles such as RF isolation, shielding, and filtering.
  • Capability to secure and maintain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Over 7 years of experience in the defense or aerospace sector.
  • Advanced degrees in Electrical Engineering with ABET accreditation are preferred.
  • Familiarity with software tools such as LTSpice, PSPICE, and MatLab.
  • Strong communication skills and experience with intricate technical projects.
