Job Title: Certified Home Health Aide

ModivCare is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Home Health Aide to join our team in Edison, NJ. As a Caregiver, you will provide professional, non-clinical personal care and caregiving services to enable clients to remain healthy and independent in their home and community settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with instrumental activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
  • Provide personal hygiene improvement and maintenance, including transferring and ambulation assistance.
  • Remind clients to take medication and maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe living environment.
  • Transport clients, as requested and approved, and prepare meals.
  • Perform housekeeping and laundry tasks, and assist with grocery shopping.
  • Support clients in completing activities of daily living and contribute to their quality of life by influencing patient safety, good hygiene, healthy eating, medication adherence, and clean home environments.
Requirements:
  • Desire to contribute to the well-being and quality of life of our clients.
  • Competent in providing direct care to clients, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and personal hygiene improvement and maintenance.
  • Ability to work independently and identify and escalate unsafe or inappropriate home and community conditions.
  • Ability to navigate diverse client personalities and behaviors and work in and respect diverse work environments in client homes.
