Cement Mason Technician

This position is responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of concrete surfaces in various construction projects. The ideal candidate will have experience with concrete finishing techniques and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Concrete Finishing: Smooth, level, and finish concrete surfaces to meet specifications and quality standards.
• Machinery Operation: Operate various machinery and equipment, including cement edging, troweling, and finishing equipment, bull float, broom, and trowel machines.
• Formwork and Assembly: Construct and assemble concrete forms and wooden frame structures for various concrete formations.
• Repair and Maintenance: Patch horizontal and vertical concrete, and assist with subgrade work, mixing of concrete or other aggregate mixtures.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with a team in a fast-paced and complex environment.

• Education: High School Diploma, GED or equivalent years of experience.
• Work Experience: 1-2 years of concrete finishing experience, preferred. Experience working with concrete curb machine, preferred.
• Physical Demands: Ability to work in constant exposure to outside elements, in all weather conditions. Ability to work in safety sensitive construction setting, including exposure to moving machinery and heavy equipment.
