Job Summary

JELD-WEN is seeking a highly skilled Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the company's accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and verify invoices for payment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and manufacturing partners to resolve invoice discrepancies and improve the overall accounts payable process.
  • Support plant management with payroll productivity and operational reporting, providing data-driven insights to inform business decisions.
  • Manage and verify scrap documentation, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of materials and inventory.
  • Coordinate with transportation teams to manage truck and transportation documentation, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers, negotiating contracts and resolving issues as needed.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make informed decisions.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial accounting software, with the ability to learn new systems and technologies quickly.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
