POSITION DETAILS
As an EH&S Consultant in our Property & Casualty department, your daily focus will include:

  • Risk Assessment: Review and assess client safety programs and risk management strategies, including hazard evaluations, incident analysis, safety gaps, and loss trends.
  • Documentation: Create client publications such as policies, procedures, manuals, and bulletins. Prepare and manage loss control reports for clients and internal records. Conduct ongoing research on safety regulations (OSHA, NFPA, DOT, etc.).
  • Client Support: Develop and deliver presentations and training sessions for clients.

  • Bachelor's degree in Safety Management or a related discipline is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the safety sector.
  • Intermediate knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, DOT, and applicable state/local regulations.
  • Experience in diverse safety environments is preferred.
  • An insurance background is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Proven ability to interpret data-driven reports, modeling, and forecasting into actionable strategies.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Skilled in Microsoft PowerBI.
  • Strong virtual communication skills, particularly with Zoom.
  • Excellent presentation skills and comfort in addressing large groups or team settings.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Ability to walk and remain on feet for extended periods. Conducting walking assessments of facilities, plants, and construction sites is standard.
  • This position requires travel. A valid driver's license is necessary for transportation to client meetings, events, and seminars. Local travel may be up to 50%, with overnight travel up to 20%.
