Radiology Biostatistician

We are seeking a highly skilled Biostatistician to join our Radiology Research team at NYU Langone Health. As a Biostatistician, you will play a critical role in designing and analyzing complex statistical studies, collaborating with research groups, and developing databases to support data-driven decision making.

• Database Development and Maintenance: Design, develop, and maintain databases to store and manage large datasets, ensuring optimal performance and data integrity.
• Statistical Analysis and Reporting: Conduct statistical analyses, write reports, and assist in the preparation of manuscripts for publication.
• Collaboration and Training: Work closely with investigators to design and implement statistical plans, provide training on statistical software and methodology, and consult on data interpretation.
• Data Management and Quality Control: Engage in data checking, summarization, and manipulation to ensure data quality and accuracy.

• Education: Master's or doctoral degree in statistics, biostatistics, or a related quantitative field.
• Experience: At least 5 years of post-graduation experience in biostatistics or a related field.
• Skills: Proficiency in R, SAS, SPSS, M-Plus, or STATA, with expertise in descriptive analysis, modeling, study design, and graphic interfaces.
• Communication: Excellent ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Project Management: Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects to ensure timely delivery with high-quality results.
