About the PositionThis is an exciting opportunity for a board-certified Urologist to provide clinical care to patients while also supervising advanced practice professionals (APPs). The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team-based setting.
Job RequirementsTo be eligible for this position, applicants must possess the following qualifications:
- A valid Wisconsin medical license or Compact privileges
- Board certification in Urology (BC/BE)
- BLS certification
This locum tenens opportunity comes with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
- A competitive annual salary of $325,000
- Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance coverage
- Temporary privileges available
- Support staff including 1 RN, 4 MAs, 5 PA/NPs, and 1 office staff
The selected candidate will be responsible for performing a range of urological procedures, including laparoscopic surgeries, ureteroscopy, nephrectomy, prostatectomy, robotic surgery, TRUS biopsies, and incontinence procedures. Additionally, they will be required to supervise APPs and participate in trauma level III emergencies. Experience with EMR systems, specifically Cerner, is highly desirable.
