About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse Specialist to join our team at Haven Behavioral Healthcare. This part-time Registered Nurse position is available on the 2nd shift, offering competitive pay, shift differentials, and a $3,000 hiring bonus.

Job Summary

This role involves conducting patient assessments, providing nursing interventions, and collaborating with the treatment team to ensure high-quality patient care. As a Psychiatric Nurse Specialist, you will work closely with patients dealing with mental health conditions and co-occurring disorders in our 86-bed acute-care Joint Commission Accredited psychiatric hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct patient assessments and provide individualized nursing interventions to patients as assigned
  • Maintain a safe and efficient working environment per facility policies and procedures
  • Communicate effectively with the treatment team to ensure safe, quality care is provided to all patients
  • Provide supervision to Behavioral Health Technicians and assume the role of Charge Nurse when assigned
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A graduate degree from an accredited nursing program

Estimated Salary

The estimated salary for this role is approximately $60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
