Summary: Dometic Marine's facility specializes in the production of roto-molded fuel and ballast tanks along with various roto-molded products tailored for industrial applications. The site also engages in the manufacturing of select marine furniture, aluminum tanks, blow-molded portable tanks, and sanitation systems.
Main Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all plant safety protocols.
- Gain comprehensive knowledge of product applications.
- Understand basic wiring diagrams and industry best practices.
- Conduct product and part validation testing under the guidance of the Design Engineer/Manager.
- Perform life cycle and front-end load testing.
- Execute various testing procedures including amperage, sound, flow, rim wash, media flush, hose permeation, force, and destruct testing.
- Prepare formal reports based on testing outcomes.
Qualifications and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Familiarity with mechanical systems and their operations; fabrication experience is advantageous.
- Ability to read and understand instructions, correspondence, and memos.
- Capability to draft detailed correspondence and test reports.
- Effective communication skills for presenting information in small group settings.
- Mathematical skills for performing basic calculations and interpreting data.
- Ability to apply common sense in executing detailed instructions and solving problems.
- Competence in reading engineering assembly drawings and Bills of Materials, along with knowledge of wiring techniques.
- Physical demands include the ability to lift and move items up to 70 pounds.
