Job Overview:

The Mechanical Engineer III is responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical components and equipment. This role requires strong technical skills, including proficiency in CAD software, SolidWorks, and EPDM. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in a related Engineering field and at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. In addition to technical skills, excellent communication and problem-solving abilities are essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designs, develops, and tests mechanical components, equipment, and machinery.
  • May integrate components to produce the final design and evaluate its overall effectiveness, manufacturability, cost, reliability, and safety.
  • In addition to design and development, the position may provide production supervision of parts and equipment, determine the causes of component failure, and test manufactured products to maintain quality.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in related Engineering field required
  • 5-7 years of engineering experience
Work Environment: The work environment for this role is primarily an office setting located near a manufacturing facility. While the office is climate-controlled and typically quiet, occasional exposure to noise, vibrations, or odors from the nearby production area may occur. Employees may need to enter the manufacturing floor occasionally, requiring adherence to safety protocols, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
