Job Summary

Ebenezer is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver Assistant to provide personal care and support to our senior residents in a assisted living/memory care community in Naples, FL.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
  • Provide health-related services, such as passing medication, glucose monitoring, and vital sign checks, under the direction of a nurse.
  • Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and meal service duties as needed.
  • Assist with activities and events, and provide companionship to residents.
  • Observe residents and report any changes or concerns to the nursing staff.
  • Assist with the onboarding of new staff members.
Requirements
  • Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with residents and colleagues.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and support others.
  • Curiosity and willingness to work with a diverse and older population.
  • CNA certification preferred, but not required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, or completion of a formal NA or HHA course preferred.
  • Previous experience as a HHA, CNA, NA, DSP, or PCA preferred.
