Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team at DeKalb Regional Medical Center. As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our medical imaging department.

Responsibilities
  • Perform ultrasonic examinations to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions.
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Develop and implement effective patient care plans, prioritizing patient comfort and safety.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest ultrasound technologies and techniques.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
  • Registered or registry-eligible in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (RDMS) or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
