Job Title: Applications Architect

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Applications Architect to lead the design and implementation of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT architecture, RPA development, and project leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and architect RPA solutions using UiPath or Power Automate
  • Lead in the design, specification, and selection of RPA solutions
  • Work with developers, business analysts, and subject matter experts to understand complex technological systems
  • Create detail design documentation, development, unit testing, and maintenance of internally developed applications
  • Assist in performing periodic audits for Robotic Process Automation
  • Assist with deployment activities for Robotic Process Automation
  • Assist with orchestration activities for Robotic Process Automation
  • Provide best practices to other developers
  • Provide expertise regarding the integration of Robotic Process Automation applications across Commerce
  • Determine specifications, planning, designing, and developing solutions
  • Develop programming and development standards and procedures
  • Have in-depth knowledge of Robotic Process Automation approaches
  • Understand and apply current application development methodologies
  • Research and maintain knowledge in emerging technologies
  • Act as a technical expert and critical technical resource
  • Manage development queues and provide status information
  • Translate business requirements to technical specifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field/equivalent work experience
  • Experience with Robotic Process Automation (UiPath or Power Automate) developer certification preferred
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in multiple IT areas
  • Minimum of two (2) years of relevant Robotic Process Automation (RPA) experience
  • Minimum of five (5) years' experience in a professional senior technical role
  • Excellent verbal, written communication skills
  • Advanced to expert level knowledge of architecture, applications systems design, and integration
  • Experience as a project leader on multiple IT projects
  • Experience working on high-complexity projects
  • Experience with workflow design skills
  • Strategic business acumen and understanding of organization strategy
  • Strong critical thinker with problem-solving aptitude
  • Ability to deal with and resolve complex customer business issues
  • Demonstrated high standards of professional behavior
