Job SummaryWe are looking for a skilled technician with at least 1 year of experience in electrical assembly, soldering, troubleshooting, and repair. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with medical device repair and manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities- Perform device repairs, upgrades, retrofits, and preventive maintenance on internal medical equipment.
- Execute quality control procedures for all repaired devices prior to releasing them back to the customer.
- Provide technical device repair training support to internal and external customers in collaboration with Technical Service Center (TSC) repair engineer.
- Test, diagnose, and execute repairs, upgrades, retrofits, and preventive maintenance on client and customer-owned devices.
- Replace and repair defective circuit boards and provide support for software firmware upload and download.
- At least 1 year of experience in electrical assembly, soldering, troubleshooting, and/or repair, including manufacturing environment or related electrical, mechanical, pneumatic experience/trade.
- Experience with MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
- Demonstrated productivity requirements and quality standards specified by the business.
- Demonstrated knowledge in electrical schematic diagrams, BOMs, test procedures, and work instructions.
- Able to maintain complete confidentiality and discretion in business relations.
- Able to demonstrate skills regarding teamwork and collaboration.
- Experience with soldering iron guns and de-soldering equipment.
- Background in working with medical device repair and manufacturing environments.
Associate's degree in electrical or related electrical field.
Salary and BenefitsThe estimated annual salary for this position is $50,500, based on a 40-hour workweek and assuming a 12-month period of employment. Volt Workforce Solution offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, term life, short-term disability, AD&D, 401(k), sick time, and other types of paid leaves (as required by law).
