Responsibilities:
  • Assemble, install, and maintain electrical equipment and wiring systems in commercial settings.
  • Prepare work areas for installation of equipment.
  • Install or assist in installing electrical components.
  • Connect wiring and equipment according to code and job specifications.
  • Operate equipment only if trained and certified to do so.
  • Set up and operate tools such as hydraulic benders, power threaders, and cable vacuum systems.
  • Read blueprints and electrical drawings and install as specified.
  • Verify dimensions, alignments, and clearances per drawings or plans.
  • Secure and lock up equipment after use.
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience as a commercial electrician (Journeyman).
  • Texas State Electrical License (Journeyman Card).
  • Valid State Driver's License.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Good attendance and punctuality required.
  • Must be self-motivated and willing to work from descriptions and blueprints.
  • Experience and proficiency running electrical conduit with precision expertise.
  • Must have layout capabilities.
  • Must have a good attitude and be willing to work with other craftsmen.
  • Must be hard working and have the drive and determination to complete the task at hand.
